As Bihar prepares for its upcoming assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed BJP workers, emphasizing that this election will mark a significant new chapter in the state's history. He pointed out that the youth will play a crucial role in determining whether the NDA's double-engine government returns to power in Bihar.
Modi sharply criticized the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), stating that the people of Bihar will never forget the era of 'jungle raj' associated with their governance. He urged party workers to educate the youth about past events and the impact of Naxalite terrorism through the experiences of the elders. Modi remarked that the previous RJD government prioritized its own interests over the welfare of the state's youth, leading to a halt in development.
According to recent statements, Modi referred to the Grand Alliance as 'lathbandhan', claiming they are only familiar with conflict and strife, prioritizing personal interests over public welfare. He reassured that the NDA is dedicated to fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of Bihar's youth and is actively engaging with them. Modi also called on the youth to promote voter awareness by reaching out to every household.
Additionally, Modi extended his best wishes to party workers for Chhath Puja and Bhai Dooj. He announced that voting in Bihar will take place on November 6 and 11, with counting scheduled for November 14. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of women's empowerment and securing a bright future for the youth, highlighting that Bihar is celebrating a grand festival of democracy.
